About
Hey, I'm Sean.
I study integration platforms and build with them. For twelve years I've helped software companies connect their products to everyone else's: APIs, SDKs, marketplaces, and now the tools AI agents use.
I'm the founder of Left Hook, where we've built 200+ integrations for 100+ software companies, and lead maintainer of the Frigg Framework, the open-source integration framework we created. I've been a hands-on full-stack developer for more than nine of those years.
Most recently I was Sr. PM of APIs at Klaviyo, where I helped open its platform to AI agents: 490+ APIs and 260+ MCP tools in the Headless Klaviyo launch.
I write about MCP, APIs, and what it takes to make a product agent-ready. Start with the six MCP servers every product company will need, or subscribe to the weekly newsletter on the home page.
I'm open to what's next: leading API, platform, and ecosystem work, partnerships where the product is the integration, or building as a platform or forward-deployed engineer.
Outside of work I'm a co-founder and board member of The Freedom Cafe, a 501(c)(3) cafe in Durham, NH dedicated to ending human trafficking. I live in Exeter, NH.
